Here is the list what Ingredients needed to make this Mutton Curry Recipe:

1 kg. Mutton chunks with bone
5 medium sized potatoes, skinned and cut into 4 pieces each
4 large tomatoes, skinned and pulped
4 drumsticks, cleaned and each cut into 4 pieces

All Below Ingredients – Grind fine in ½ Cup of Water

1 fresh coconut
18 large Kashmiri chillies, deseeded
10 large cloves garlic
1 ½ tbsps. Coriander seeds broiled
1 tbsp. sesame seeds, broiled
1 tbsp. poppy seeds, broiled
½ cup of chana (grams)
½ cup peanuts
3 sprigs curry leaves
½ cup tamarind water
Salt
Sesame oil

Method of Cooking – Parsi Mutton Curry Recipe:

  1. Wash the meat. Prepare the potatoes and wash them. Then cook the meat and potatoes in 4 to 5 cups of water with salt in a pressure cooker till tender.
  2. Take 3 tablespoons of sesame oil and place it in a large vessel on medium heat. When the Oil is hot add the curry sprigs and allow crackling and then adding the ground soft coconut masala. Stir the masala for 5 minutes on a low fire till a good aroma arises out of it.
  3. Then add the mutton soup from the pressure cooker and allow boiling briskly on a medium flame. Once the curry has boiled for 7 minutes, add the pulped tomatoes and the cooked mutton and potatoes. Lower the heat and allow the curry to thicken. Simmer for 10- 15 minutes. Remove from the fire.
  4. Serve with white rice cooked with bay leaves, sour lime wedges, onion slices and papads
